Privacy notes.
What happens to your draft, your message, and the details you choose to share.
These notes describe the TechEnlight website and inquiries to Brandon Smith. For how a project is agreed, see working together.
Your message draft
The message builder keeps what you type in page memory. It does not upload the draft, send a support request to a server, or save the draft in browser storage. The form is cleared when the page is reloaded or restored.
Your name, preferred local or remote format, and town are optional. A short description is enough. Please leave out street addresses, passwords, payment details, recovery codes, and sensitive files.
“Prepare my message” shows a preview. “Open text” and “Open email” hand that draft to your chosen app; you still need to send it there. “Copy message” puts the draft on your device’s clipboard. Your browser and device may offer their own autofill, clipboard, or other features.
Messages you choose to send
If you send a text or email, Brandon receives your message and the contact details supplied by that communication service, such as your email address or telephone number. They are used to answer your request and arrange related service work.
Messages are handled through the messaging or email providers involved. Sending an inquiry does not sign you up for a marketing mailing list.
For questions about information you have shared, or to request deletion of a message, email exemptus@tutamail.com. Some information may need to be retained for ongoing work or business records; the response can explain what applies to your request.
Website delivery and other services
This site adds no advertising pixels or analytics scripts. The hosting platform may process technical request information, such as IP address and browser information, to deliver and operate the site.
Links to LinkedIn, project websites, and other destinations take you to services with their own policies. Your browser, hosting, messaging, and email providers may also process information under their own policies.
Questions are welcome.
TechEnlight is an independent service by Brandon Smith. Contact exemptus@tutamail.com if something in these notes is unclear or if you want to ask about a particular message.
